ABOUT THE AUTHOR
J.S. Kwan
J.S. Kwan writes character-driven epic fantasy in which extraordinary circumstances and morally complicated conflicts reveal the strength and fragility of the human spirit and the bonds between people.
With prose that blends grounded realism with a poetic edge, he creates characters who feel like real people first and fantasy characters second. His stories are set within expansive, lived-in worlds shaped by history, conflict, and magic.
Though his stories may venture into dark places, they are ultimately rooted in hope: the belief that kindness matters because the world can be cruel, and that beauty can still be found in unexpected places. The darkness gives the light meaning.
